Our Story
It started with a simple question: What if work could work differently?
RecruitMyMom began with a simple observation: too many highly skilled women were leaving the workforce because traditional ways of working weren’t flexible (time or location) enough to accommodate both career and family.
In 2012, Founder and CEO Phillipa Geard set out to change that. She believed professional women shouldn’t have to choose between meaningful careers and the realities of family life — and that businesses were missing out on exceptional talent by failing to embrace flexibility, even micro-flexibility.
What began as a solution to a very real problem has grown into a broader talent company, connecting skilled professionals with forward-thinking businesses across South Africa and around the world.
